If you want views that most of PCB travelers will miss out on, take a short 15-minute drive, and check out Downtown Historic St Andrews. Condo was great. Beds in bedrooms are really squeaky, which was annoying. Showers are amazing. Door is close to elevators. A lot to like about this place.
We absolutely loved staying at Sail Away! The large balcony provided a beautiful view of the ocean and also overlooked the pool. The condo was very spacious and clean and well laid-out; having a designated parking space was a huge plus, too. The complex has a nice little store by the pool where you can get delicious adult or kid-friendly beverages and popsicles/snacks, and there is direct access to the beach. The overall location is great, too. We walked to Patches Pub one night for dinner (great grouper sandwich), and they had some nice outdoor live music. We also went to the very-nearby state park, took a ferry to Shell Island, and spent some time on that beach. Later, we rented a pontoon boat and cruised around the bay for a few hours, which was lots of fun. We saw sooo many dolphins out there and even a manatee! If we ever take another vacation in Panama City, I won't even look for another place to stay. This one was absolutely perfect, and the host was wonderful, too!
The couch and love seat are old..should be replaced. For what we paid that furniture could have been updated. Bathroom update was lovely
Overall beautiful place with great services
This condo overlooks the beach and pool from the 5th floor which gives a perfect view with less noise from water activities. It could not be any closer to the water without being on the beautiful white sand. The condo is nice but the beds could use upgrading, especially the guest room. We enjoyed our stay, intended to stay for 4 weeks but extended to 8 as departure time neared. We rarely waited more than seconds for an elevator and appreciated the many luggage carts available for bringing in groceries, etc. We really enjoyed watching dolphins and pelicans from the balcony (and the sunsets, of course!), felt like we were actually out on the water. Numerous bar/restaurants are within easy walking distance and it was great being farther away from all the spring break activity. Sailaway is an excellent management company and great to deal with. We had to leave 2 days early due to loud constuction in the condo above us and they graciously refunded 2 nights rent. Would definitly stay again!
